When you are sick or depressed, you spend time in bed mostly, so bedclothes are the material that keeps body traces, sweat, tears, memories, and probably knows more about emotional traumas and subconscious fears. It is like a second skin, absorbing all data, but through heat transformation shows scars and wounds as indexes of pain. Together the burnt pieces create the illusionary internal space. Each fragment is unique, but along with each other they are like small stories about suffering from different angles. Are modern plastic materials and technology have an impact on destruction inside us? Or is it self-harm? Or are psychological and social factors cause physical diseases? This work does not give direct answers, only provides references to history, metaphysics and psychosomatic.
